DAMIEN: Good morning and welcome to More Photos Radio. My name is Damien Allen, and joining me today on the telephone is Eddie Price of Eddie Price Photography. Good morning, Eddie, and welcome to the program.
EDDIE: Thank you. Good morning.
DAMIEN: Eddie you’re going to be expanding your talent in 2010 to do more senior portraits. What kind of specialty will you be offering the seniors?
EDDIE: Well, let’s talk about senior portraits. One of the things about high school senior portraits is I look back on my children’s experience in high school and me being a photographer, I didn’t take enough picture, and I find that most parents don’t take as many pictures once their children reach high school. And there is junior/senior year is the time when you should get their picture. You should get that picture of your child to show their art talents, if they’re in sports, show them in sports, dance, whatever, piano, whatever they are doing at that point of time in high school, because years later, you will not have that opportunity. Once they graduate from high school, trying to get your daughter or son to sit down long enough for you to get a family portrait or get pictures of them are going to be very difficult, because they are beginning their new life once they leave home and go off to college or go off to work. And that senior year is that last opportunity to get some nice pictures of your children that you can cherish for later, and what I’m planning to do in 2010 is I’m providing free pictures to seniors. All they have to do is contact me, and the parents have to be in agreement, and I’m providing free pictures so I can build a group of samples of different senior pictures, and I’m providing it to anyone who is interested. There will be no charge for the sitting fee. It’s going to be offered just during the month of May, but parents or students need to contact me during March and April to set up appointments, and they won’t be charged for the pictures. I’ll give them a package of pictures and this is an introductory offer. If they want to order anything beyond what they receive free, because they will receive a free package of one 8x10, two 5x7s, and 8 wallets for free. All they have to do is come, make contact with me to set up an appointment, give me an hour, and we’ll do either a studio, environmental, or urban, or we may do a combination, it just depends. And this is for the purpose of me doing competition prints.
DAMIEN: Well, Eddie, if someone is interested in learning more about Eddie Price Photography, or if they want to contact you, what is the website and contact information?
